Do We Still Tithe Today?

We give our tithes (10% of our financial increase) as a response to who Christ is, what He has done in our lives, and the example He set for us. And when we give, we actively participate in what God is wanting to accomplish in our world. The principle of giving honors God with our wealth, recognizes God's handiwork in blessing us and partners us with the purposes of God. Giving is not exclusive to a few but intended for all. God is a generous God and calls His church also to generosity in all areas including in our giving.

The Father's House

As parents, our greatest example is our heavenly Father and as we look at the story of the Prodigal Son, we find great insight into what the Father's House is like. The Father's love is unconditional and even in our worst moments, He's there waiting to receive us with great love and compassion! We see 3 characteristics of the Father's House: He loves, empowers, and gives identity.
